Meherbaan

Ravi promises his father on his deathbed that he would tend to their poor neighbour Chaurangilal's family throughout his life. Ravi strives to keep his promise, but Chaurangilal is a spendthrift and schemes to usurp Ravi's wealth. Meanwhile, Ravi marries the woman he loves from a humble and honest family, much to Chaurangilal's dismay. But after her unfortunate death, Ravi is coerced to marry Chaurangilal's daughter. What will happen to Ravi post a second marriage remains to be seen.
